10-Week Moving Average

Also called: 10-week, 10 week, 10-week MA, 10-week moving average

The average closing price over the last 10 weeks, plotted on the weekly chart. This is my primary support level for stocks in strong uptrends because institutional buyers tend to add positions near the 10-week and when a stock respects it for the first time after a character change that's a powerful entry signal.

On the Chart

Death by a Thousand Cuts**QQQ Weekly** — For months the 10-week didn't matter. Now that it's sloping down, the market is fading each rally into it. Three consecutive rejections.
