Trading Process

Overtrading

Also called: overtrade, too many trades, doing too much, busy work

Placing too many trades, usually driven by the urge to do something rather than a genuine setup. My whole journey started from the frustration of placing hundreds of trades and underperforming the S&P, and I found all of my success by doing less. In 2024 I placed under 40 trades all year and returned around 70%. More trades almost never means more money.
